Privacy Policy
Hi! This is Ariadna. I value your privacy and want you to feel safe while visiting my site. Here's a clear and honest explanation of how I handle your information.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
| Name | Ariadna Vázquez |
| Activity | Independent brand strategy and cultural design practice |
| Location | Madrid, España |
| Contact | web@ariadnavazquez.com |
2. What information I collect and why
Info you give me directly — contact form
When you fill in the contact form, I collect your name, email address, and the message you write. I use this information solely to reply to your enquiry — nothing else.
- Legal basis: Legitimate interest (responding to a request you initiated).
- Retention: Messages are deleted within 12 months of the last communication between us.
- I don't sell your data. I don't share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
- How it travels: The form is managed by the Contact Form 7 plugin and delivered by WP Mail SMTP through my hosting provider's mail servers (Hostalia, EU). Your message arrives only to my inbox.
Info collected automatically — analytics
With your consent, I use Google Analytics 4 (via the Site Kit by Google plugin) to collect anonymous usage statistics: pages visited, time on site, device type, approximate geographic location, and traffic source. This data is aggregated and does not identify you individually.
- Legal basis: Consent — you can withdraw it at any time via the cookie banner.
- Data processor: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
- International transfers: Data may be transferred to Google servers in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Info processed for security purposes
The Solid Security Basic and Imunify Security plugins process IP addresses to detect and block suspicious activity (e.g. brute force login attempts). This data is used solely for security and is not shared with third parties.
- Legal basis: Legitimate interest (protecting the website and its users against malicious access).
3. Third-party services
Sometimes I share information with trusted partners who help me run the site or deliver services. Here's the full list:
| Service | Provider | Purpose | Privacy Policy |

| Web hosting & email delivery | Hostalia | Hosts this website and delivers contact form messages (EU servers) | hostalia.com |
| Google Analytics 4 | Google LLC | Anonymous traffic analysis (with consent) | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google Search Console | Google LLC | SEO performance monitoring — no user data collected | policies.google.com/privacy |

4. Your rights
Under the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) and the Spanish Organic Law on Data Protection (LOPDGDD), you have the following rights. You can exercise any of them by contacting me — it's easy, just send me a message.
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data I hold about you.
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary.
- Restriction: Request that I limit how I process your data in certain circumstances.
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection: Object to processing where I rely on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time — without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact me at: web@ariadnavazquez.com
If you feel your rights haven't been properly addressed, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
4b. Automated decision-making and profiling
I do not use automated decision-making or profiling (as defined under Article 22 of the GDPR) on this website. No decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made about you automatically.
5. Keeping it safe
I take measures to protect your info and keep it secure. This includes: malware scanning and a firewall via Imunify Security, brute-force protection via Solid Security Basic, regular encrypted backups via BackWPup, and all data transmitted over HTTPS.
6. Updates to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in my practices or applicable law. Significant changes will be communicated through a visible notice on this website. I recommend checking back periodically.
